About the IIQM Library

LibraryThe IIQM Library supports the research needs of academics from a wide variety of fields with an interest in qualitative research methods and seeking ways of advancing and improving these methodologies in their research work.

We collect a wide variety of books on various qualitative research methods and other topics such as ethnography, mixed methods, observational research, interviewing, women studies, grounded theory, nursing, ethics, proposal writing, organizational theory, communications, health professionals/policy, and a whole lot more!

In addition to books, we also have a small collection of print journals and A/V media (videos, audio recordings) of various workshops and conferences the IIQM has been involved with over the years. You can view or listen to these on-site.

Our collection serves to complement the vast collection of the University of Alberta Libraries (http://library.ualberta.ca/). When pursuing research, we advise you to check the U of A system first. If the U of A doesn’t have the exact title you’re looking for or all of the copies of a particular book are checked out, give us a try!
